Client: Tawasul Electronic Network Solutions/ Muscat/ Oman Creative Firm: Storm Corporate Design - Auckland, NZ Creative Team: Rehan Saiyed - Designer/Design Director
The leading electronic point-of-sale provider in the Middle East and North Africa wanted to rebrand itself in order to develop the identity with a clear vision in anticipation of future expansion. With this in mind, Storm Corporate Design in Auckland, New Zealand sought to create consistency in the graphic elements for the growing brand structure under two different names-one for each of Tawasul Electronic Network Solutions' major markets. According to Storm, "visual similarity relat[ing] to each other but at the same time different enough so have their own individuality" guided the design.
Design elements tied into the idea of the client's system, with hexagons figuring prominently across the logos. "Connecting hexagons creates the illusion of networking," the agency explains. "The construction is further simplified to represent more meaningful concept and simplified geometry creates a visually more interesting, memorable and strong identity."
